Baza Archaeological Museum
The Archaeological Museum of Baza invites you to travel through the history of the city and its region, from Prehistory to the Modern Age. Its collections cover a wide chronological range, with special emphasis on Iberian culture, which is the main core of its collections. You can also discover Roman, Visigothic and Andalusian Baza through its archaeological pieces.Most of the pieces on display come from excavations carried out in the municipality of Baza itself and in other enclaves in the region, such as the Sierra de Baza, the archaeological area of Basti (with the sites of Cerro Cepero, Cerro Santuario and Cerro Largo), the Vega de Baza and the Campo del Jabalcón. The urban excavations carried out in the city in recent years have also contributed to enriching the museum's collections.in addition, the museum houses an important collection of pieces recovered from looting, thanks to the work of the security forces. Although these pieces lack the archaeological context of a scientific excavation, they are a valuable testimony to the historical heritage of the region.we invite you to explore the rooms of the museum and discover the fascinating history of Baza through its archaeological collections.

Church of Santa María la Blanca
This neoclassical church is a living testimony to the history of La Campana.Although its origins date back to a 15th century hermitage dedicated to the Virgen de la Consolación, the building we contemplate today is the result of centuries of architectural evolution. Its interior houses a rich collection of sculptures and paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries.The current temple was completed in 1792, when the master Figueroa designed its main façade, a masterpiece of neoclassical style that combines the Doric and Ionic orders.A temple with a lot of history to tell its visitors, pay attention to the details!
