Lo <a href=\"http:\/\/ww.stedelijk.nl\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Stedelijk Museum<\/a> of Amsterdam, one of the most important museums of modern and contemporary art, has been one of the first to offer its visitors the possibility to expand the information on its panels and thus decide their individual experience using a radio system. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Only almost a decade later, the first museums incorporated this revolutionary tool as an additional service for their visitors. They were the United States Museum of Natural History and the Louvre. Although they seem to have been with us for the rest of our lives, they only arrived at the Museo del Prado in 2002.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From then until now, its technological evolution has been going at breakneck speed and we have moved from traditional cassettes to cloud services in a very short time. It is important to keep this in mind, because it means a real and proper revolution in museum experience. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The present (and future?) of audioguides<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new generation of audioguides responds to the digital transformation of the tourism sector, an unstoppable process for which we have technologies that allow us to adapt to the new tourism model.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Features of the modern audioguides\u00ab<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is likely that even the name will end in comparison, because nowadays audioguides are much more like this. Installed on the mobile device of every visitor, these are very complete apps that provide information \u00abon demand\u00bb. They organise their own travel and document themselves. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The digital transformation of tourism<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Working in the cloud allows us to adapt quickly to changes and opportunities and to be more effective and efficient.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This new generation of audioguide responds to the digital transformation of the sector, which helps us to increase the value of the destination by adapting it to the new requirements of the visitor.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The coronavirus has also changed, and will continue to change, our travel preferences and the way we relate to each other.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From avoiding physical contact during a break, which is characteristic of the countries of southern Europe, to avoiding places where people are caught. In 2020, for example, the tourist attraction of rural areas will increase and so will the need to ensure compliance with all hygiene and safety measures.
