The jury of the TIS2021 Touristech Startup Fest deemed the most complete smart tourism platform on the market worthy of the Telef\u00f3nica award at the gala held in Seville on the occasion of TIS 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aumentur, the smart tourism platform that allows any destination to offer multimedia tour guides on visitors' mobile devices, won the first of the awards. The Telef\u00f3nica award was presented by Leopoldo Balmori, <\/strong>responsible for Innovation in Telef\u00f3nica's Southern Territory, who opened the doors to the Aumentur team at Telef\u00f3nica's Gran V\u00eda Open Future space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the CEO of this startup, Javier Melero<\/strong>This recognition means \"a very important recognition of the commitment made during the pandemic to develop a comprehensive solution that really solves the problems of both destinations and visitors.<\/em>\". Aumentur has announced new functionalities that will be presented at FITUR 2022 and that will differentiate this solution even more from other solutions on the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Touristech Startup Fest<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Touristech Startup Fest is an initiative launched within the framework of the Tourism Innovation Summit, and brings together the 40 most innovative startup finalists from around the world, with projects that address the transformation of the tourism sector through technology and sustainability. In this edition, according to the organisation, more than 700 companies from all over the world presented their 5\u2032 pitch in the Innovation Theatre of TIS2021, and only forty of them did so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"This award is even more valuable when you look at the list of participating startups.<\/em>\", he says Luis Alberto Melero<\/strong>COO of Aumentur. Among the 40 participants who presented their technological solution are companies from all over the world with a long history, such as Smartguide, OBW Street Style or My Tour Live. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The category of \"Leisure and Culture<\/a> where Aumentur was framed with the participation of five other startups (Alma Heritage, Amazing Up, AR Vision 2049, Park4Dis or Spotyride), being the Granada-based smart tourism company the only prize-winner<\/strong> of the six participants in this sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aumentur is a startup based in Granada, which is part of the acceleration programme Andalusia Open Future<\/a>in its space on The Cube, as well as the SmartCities cluster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aumentur participated in TIS 2021 with the help of Andalusia Lab<\/a>the Andalusian Technology and Innovation Hub. There, together with fifteen other Andalusian technology companies, city councils, provincial councils and tourism managers from all over the world, they held meetings with the team that had travelled to Seville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
