In the context of Fitur Know-How & Export, SEGITTUR organises a series of workshops called SEGITTUR Lab on 18, 19 and 20 January, aimed at professionals and managers in the tourism sector, which will address various topics of interest to keep abreast of the latest developments in digitisation and sustainability.

In the framework of these workshops, the Thursday 19 January, at 17h Aumentur will offer one called "Attracting visitors and making them fall in love with the destination: how can technology help?by our CEO Javier MeleroProfessor of Artificial Intelligence and Graphics Systems at the University of Granada.

We will work on the eminently digital profile of tourists, as they use their mobile phones throughout their stay. It is normal for tourists to want to publish reviews and opinions about their experience. For this experience to be as pleasant as possible, the visitor must fall in love with the destination and feel accompanied.

An overview of the available technologies (audio, multilingual texts, 3D, etc.) will be given, augmented realityvirtual reality among others), so that attendees can use the right technology at any given moment. IoT, Artificial Intelligence or Big Data are concepts that are on the market, but rarely the destination knows how to use them well. Platforms are ideal in this case, as they avoid having to invest large sums of money or time in development.

In this workshop, attendees will be able to see how an accessible and sustainable technological solution is capable of satisfying both the visitor and the destination, generating recommendations and happy travellers.
