Malaga accelerates its tourist positioning for the post Covid-19 era with the launch of this tool fully adapted to the new demands of these times marked by the health crisis.
In addition to being the current European Capital of Smart Tourism, Malaga is a tourist and cultural reference in Spain and has one of the most renowned Holy Week, for its history, heritage, popular tradition and uniqueness. All of these ingredients have led to the alliance between Malaga City Council and Aumenturto promote an intelligent multimedia guide to experience Easter Week 2021. A holiday marked by the demands of the pandemic and in which there will be no processions anywhere in Spain.
Our tool will help to search for the different brotherhoods in the temples of the city and offer information of great added value.
Thanks to the use of Aumentur, the visitor has the 42 brotherhoods that make up Holy Week in Malaga on their own mobile device. The user will be able to locate the churches where the images are located, as well as the rich heritage of the different brotherhoods, in the so-called brotherhood houses.
A total of six itineraries have been developed around the city - routes '...', '...', '...', '...' and '...'.Málaga Nazarena'- according to geographical areas.
It only requires the download of the Aumentur app (available for iOS y Android free of charge). Once set up, all you have to do is go out and experience the Semana Santa thanks to all sorts of multimedia content, from images and audio descriptions to augmented reality.
The smart guide has as its main vocation to improve the visitor's experience. In this sense, it works with geolocation and requires the user to be close to the different points to be visited in order to activate the contents. In other words, as each route is started, the application will unlock the nearest tabs to access the information offered.
With this bet, Malaga accelerates its tourism positioning for the post-COVID-19 era. The sector will begin its recovery in the coming months, as vaccination progresses and the desired herd immunity is achieved. Technology will be the best ally for destinations that know how to rely on it, and Malaga continues on its path of disruptive innovation.
Times are coming in which the new social and hygienic and sanitary requirements demanded by the pandemic will mark the way of travelling, and Aumentur is totally sensitive to this reality. Our platforms allow the configuration of guides that each visitor can carry on their own phone. In this way there is no need for rotation devices, in any case recommended to avoid possible sources of contagion.
