Through the smart tourism app Aumentur, which is available for iOS and Android, visitors and citizens can download six routes around the city, with which they can access a large catalogue of personalised multimedia resources of the main points of interest in the capital.
This content will be identified by the visitor through information signs in some of the points of interest included in the city; and also through the GPS of their mobile phone when the citizen is near the monument or place of interest, interacting with the application.

At a time when the use of shared devices and printed brochures or maps is no longer recommended, access to tourist and heritage information through digital media is becoming increasingly important. This is possible thanks to Aumentura mobile application that replaces the classic audio guides, offering visitors information and multimedia content about the points of interest in the town through the use of intelligent triggers, such as GPS location or QR codes.

The free application, available for iOS and Androidoffers visitors a complete, personalised and high quality multimedia catalogue, where they can enjoy, in addition to the usual texts and audios, images and 3D videos, 360º panoramas, augmented reality, and even archive images. In addition, the application supports up to 8 languages and has other accessibility sections, such as adaptation for people with reduced visibility.

With this smart tourism solution adopted by the City Council of Oviedo, visitors can access from their mobile phone with a single application to all the information on the different routes, monuments, natural areas and heritage in general.. In addition, the content is constantly updated and optimised for your device.

This application model guarantees availability and accessibility at all times, updated and optimised with the latest technology on the market. This improves the experience and speed of use by taking advantage of the resources of the mobile device and reducing the use of storage and battery. In addition, it offers integration with intelligent sensorsThe use of new technologies such as augmented reality or 3D and GPS geolocation to guide visitors or notify them of nearby cultural offers, thus improving their experience.
