Between 25 and 27 November last AUMENTUR was present at the Tourism Innovation Summit TIS 2020, The event, where the challenges and needs faced by the tourism sector to boost its recovery after COVID19 were discussed.
Despite mobility restrictions, and in compliance with health regulations, the congress was attended by more than 1,200 visitors in person and almost 8,000 online visitors.
TIS is a great international showcase for Andalusian technology companies and, therefore, AUMENTUR could not miss it.
Our tool is a clear solution to the challenges that tourist destinations are going to face with a new way of understanding tourism, allowing social distance and adapting to digitalisation.
Our platform works through an app that can be downloaded directly to the tourist's mobile phone, both on mobile devices and on the internet. iOS as Android. The user has access to routes, guides or visits in multimedia format and in their own language. The app is activated by activators such as Bluetooth, Beacons, QR codes, ... As it is a single app, the visitor is not forced to download new ones every time he visits a new destination, but accesses its contents directly.
Asset managers can customise the app and thus have a tool with all the advantages of a proprietary application, but without any of the disadvantages and at a very low cost.
As it is a cloud platform, there are no hardware maintenance costs, the content is updated easily, intuitively and in real time, the app is always up to date and new visitors are attracted thanks to being in a Marketplace.
Aumentur also has Big Data solutions that provide managers with usage statistics.
Aumentur went hand in hand with Andalusia Lab, Tusimo Andaluz's innovation hub, of which DemoLab forms part.
