At the 6th edition of the Smart Destination Awards, held during FITUR, the Granada-based startup Aumentur has received an award.
The jury of the sixth edition of the AMT Smart Destination Awards, organised by the Hotel Technological Institute (ITH) and the Alliance of Sun and Beach Tourist Municipalities (AMT) during FITUR 2023 has recognised the intelligent tourism platform Aumentur as the winner in the category 'Interaction with Tourists and Citizens'.

Within the framework of FiturTEchyIn the presence of the Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism, Reyes Maroto, representatives of the Alliance of Sun and Beach Tourism Municipalities, the Hotel Technological Institute, Fitur and Seggitur were in charge of presenting these awards, which will allow the recognised entities and companies to form part of the catalogue of technological solutions to which the leading destinations in the sector in Spain will have access.
The jury recognised Aumentur as the best technological solution for interacting with tourists, placing extraordinary value on the level of maturity of the solution, its implementation throughout Spain with more than 600 visitor packs. The members of the jury also positively valued the low investment necessary for a destination to be able to use all the resources of the Aumentur platform, as well as its versatility to be applied to any type of destination and the added value it offers to visitors so that they can enjoy all the information they need on their own mobile device.
In two years of experience, this technological platform has positioned itself as a prestigious solution on an international level and has ensured that tourist destinations, regardless of their size or type, can immediately have all kinds of cutting-edge tools at their disposal. This solution offers, from the very moment of its implementation, the geopositioning of content, as well as the most advanced multimedia resources (360º videos, 3D models and augmented reality) and even gamified routes. In addition, for comprehensive destination management, the platform provides a tourism intelligence panel to understand and optimise resources.
