Aumentur: the smart tourism app to improve the Spanish tourism experience

The Ministry of Tourism activates the 2023 call for applications for Tourism Spain Experience Grants

 

Technology is the tourism sector's best ally in its rebirth in the post-Covid-19 era and with a strong presence of Artificial Intelligence. With this reality, the Ministry of Tourism of the Government of Spain is promoting a programme of aid to promote the digitalisation of tourism throughout the country.

One of the main reasons for this call is to "driving the digital transition applied to resources, products and services to transform existing tourism experiences or enable the emergence of new tourism experiences and improve efficiency, accessibility and agility.

The purpose of these grants is to promote projects of networks of actors that develop sustainable, digital, inclusive and competitive tourism experiences in Spain, throughout the national territory or in at least three autonomous communities, framed in one of the following lines of work:

• INNOVA

  Boosting or strengthening stakeholder networks and networks of actors and narratives, resources and their sustainability and the digital transformation of the processes of the Experiencias Turismo Spain.

• INTEGRA

  Integrating into the Tourism Experiences Spain, the productive environment the host societies and the diversity of tourist and the diversity of tourist profiles.

• COMMUNICATES

  Improve the communication of values, especially those related to safety and resilience and resilience, of the Tourism Experiences in Spain and make them one of the pillars of the promotion of our country. the promotion of our country.

(up to 200,000 per beneficiary)

 The call for proposals is endowed with 20 million euros, which means that around 100 municipalities or associations will be able to access this aid to transform their tourism offer by making use of new technologies. Requirements

Associations, Federations, Foundations, Religious Entities or groups of municipalities.

Present a project with application throughout Spain, or at least 3 autonomous communities.

Assessment Criteria

The degree of impact on the environment and technological innovation of the project.

The capacity, solvency and experience of the applicant organisation(s), as well as the degree of support for the proposal from partner organisations (in the case of associations or federations).

Aumentur fits perfectly into the assessment criteria of the technological solutions proposed, as the factors to be taken into account include the relationship of the activities envisaged in the project with the objectives of the Tourism Sector Modernisation and Competitiveness Plan: green transition, digital transition, diversification, deconcentration, quality and governance.
