Aumentur, the startup that is transforming the way tourists explore and enjoy destinations, has won the Touristech Startup Fest award at the Tourism Innovation Summit (TIS) 2024. Its mobile app, which offers a personalised and complete experience to discover cities, towns, museums and natural spaces, beat more than 400 entries from around the world in a final full of innovation and technology applied to tourism.

The jury, made up of experts from the national and international tourism sector, highlighted Aumentur's versatility and level of innovation, its positive impact on the tourist experience and its great potential for growth in international markets. The app, which already has more than 60,000 downloads, offers its users detailed information on points of interest, interactive routes, and audio guides with advanced multimedia content such as videos or 3D models, to explore destinations in an autonomous and enriching way. Even the little ones have their space in Aumentur, with gamified routes that help them discover the places with gymkhanas or games.

TIS 2024, held in Seville from 23 to 25 October, brought together more than 7,000 tourism professionals and consolidated itself as one of the most important events in the sector at a global level. Within this great event, the Touristech Startup Fest seeks to promote innovation and digital transformation in tourism, selecting those proposals that provide solutions to the challenges of tourism today. In addition, the participants will be part of the first atlas of tourism startups in the world.

This recognition obtained by Aumentur is added to other previous ones, such as the one obtained at FITUR 2023 as the best technological tool for the relationship between the destination and the visitoror the award of Costa del Sol Tourism for best entrepreneurial project in 2022.

With more than 500 destinations in Spain already integrated into the platform, Aumentur has ambitious plans for international expansion. "In the coming months, travellers will be able to enjoy Aumentur in major cities such as Rome, Paris, London and many more," announced Luis Alberto Melero, co-founder of the company.

Among the destinations incorporated into Aumentur is the city of Granada, which offers, for example, five heritage routes to get to know the Albaicín neighbourhood, as well as a guide to visit the Cuarto Real de Santo Domingo. Using this tool, visitors to Granada can explore the city "at their own pace" and discover legends in cisterns, historical figures or secrets of the monuments along the Darro River.
